One House bill has fueled some controversy after passing in the Senate.
House Bill 442, intended to open the red fish and flounder fishing seasons again, has now also put limitations on shrimp trawling.
If put into law, this would limit fishermen to fishing in areas located more than one-half mile from the shore.
