Russia Plans to Launch up to 140 Modern Fish Trawlers
Up to 140 fish trawlers will soon be built in Russia as part of the existing renovation program for the country’s fishing fleet.
According to Ilya Shestakov, head of the Federal Agency for Fisheries (Rosrybolovstvo), most of the trawlers will be built at the capacities of domestic shipyards under the existing state program “Quotas in exchange for investments.”
