ISA Detected At Bakkafrost Site in Faroe Islands, Grieg and Skretting Sites in Norway
Infectious salmon anemia (ISA) has hit some major salmon farmers in both the Faroe Islands and Norway.
Bakkafrost has confirmed the presence of ISA in two pens at its A-19 Vágur site in the Faroe Islands. The farm holds around one million fish, and Bakkafrost is immediately harvesting the two pens that are affected.
