FDA Issues Update on Investigation of Scombrotoxin Fish Poisoning Linked to Yellowfin Tuna
In November the FDA announced that they were investigating incidents of scombrotoxin fish poisoning linked to yellowfin tuna. Now, with additional illnesses reported, the FDA is releasing a list of importers who may have sold the tainted tuna.
As SeafoodNews previously reported, Truong Phu Xanh Co., a Vietnamese tuna supplier, was placed on Import Alert after an investigation linked scombrotoxin fish poisoning to the company's yellowfin tuna.
