Thin Air-Traffic Staffing Spurs Delays at US Airports
Over Monday and Tuesday, more than 9,000 flights in and out of U.S. airports were delayed, according to flight-data specialist FlightAware. Staffing shortages at federal air-traffic control facilities across the country have prompted authorities to slow the number of flights that can take off and land at certain airports.
