NMFS Extends Northeast Multispecies Emergency Measures to Protect New England Groundfish Industry

On October 3, NOAA Fisheries signed a temporary rule that extended emergency management measures for the Northeast Multispecies Fishery through April 30, 2026.
The rule will allow for the continued operation of the Northeast groundfish sector during the 2025 fishing year.
