PHOTOS: Coast Guard Tows New Bedford Fishing Vessel 160 Miles
A disabled fishing vessel from New Bedford was safely returned to shore thanks to the crew of the Coast Guard Cutter Tahoma.
On Sunday, December 6, th Tahoma received a report at approximately 10:26 p.m. that the F/V Fearless was disabled and that the crew needed assistance. According to a press release from the Coast Guard, the vessel was located 160 nautical miles East of Nantucket, Massachusetts.
