43% of Canadian Consumers Intend to Increase Plant-Based Food Consumption
The vegan and vegetarian trend is growing – at least in Canada. According to a new study from Nielsen, 43% of Canadian consumers intend to increase their consumption of plant-based foods.
Nielsen reports that meat and dairy alternatives were one of the fastest growing fast-moving consumer goods categories last year, growing by $31 million.
