DFO Steps Up Elver Enforcement as Harvest Climbs Toward Allowable Catch
Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO) says its fishery officers maintained a strong on‑the‑water and shore presence across Southwest Nova Scotia, Eastern Nova Scotia and Southwest New Brunswick this season to protect the integrity of the highly valued, tightly regulated elver fishery.
