Cod Bounces Back in the GOA: 2021 TAC Almost 3X Higher Than 2020, Pollock TAC Down 2.5%
The North Pacific Fisheries Management Council set Total Allowable Catches (TACs) for the Gulf of Alaska’s species last Friday, and it looks like Pacific cod is returning in numbers not seen since before the stock crash at the end of 2017.
