Pescanova still ranks as 10th largest global seafood company despite bankruptcy

According to a ranking of global seafood companies done by the Faro de Vigo, Pescanova has emerged as the tenth largest global seafood company by sales in 2013, despite the second largest corporate bankruptcy in Spanish history.
They say the company 'gripped with tweezers its chance for survival', and as a result the forces that allowed for a rescue meant that the company has remained intact as the largest seafood producer in the EU, and the fourth largest is Europe.
In 2013 Pesanova sales were 1.063 million Euros, vs. 1.354 million in 2012. Before that, sales figures were so compromised they can't be trusted....
