Early morning fire prompts AquaChile to evacuate Puerto Montt salmon processing plant

A fire broke out early Tuesday morning in one of AquaChile's salmon processing plants in Puerto Montt, Chile.
Employees at the plant when the fire broke out were evacuated andno injuries reported.
The facility is one of AquaChile's six processing plants and has a production capacity of 50,000 tons a year and employs around 700 workers.
AquaChile said it will look to get its Los Lagos operation back up and running as soon as possible and get its employees back to work.
