SalMar’s Second Quarter Hurt By Lower Salmon Prices, Boosts Harvest Outlook

Norwegian salmon farmer SalMar said lower market prices impacted its second-quarter financial results compared to the same time last year.
According to SalMar, the price of salmon averaged NOK 73.1 per kg ($7.17/kg), down from NOK 110.9 per kg in the second quarter of 2024.
