FFAW Walks Out of Snow Crab Price Talks Days Before Season Start

FFAW-Unifor, the union representing crab harvesters in Newfoundland and Labrador, has walked away from price negotiations just days ahead of the scheduled start of the snow crab fishing season.
The union said no crab will be processed in the province "until a fair price is agreed upon," after 13 hours of talks failed to reach an agreement with processors.
