Japan: Russian Snow Crab Imports Increased 10% to 11,258 Tons in January-November
Snow crab imports are increasing due to the drop in price in 2023 and the influx of products from Russia's Barents Sea. According to the Ministry of Finance's trade statistics, the amount of frozen snow crab imported from January to November 2021 was 16,759 tons, an increase of 9% from last year. Of this amount, imports from Russia increased by 12% to 11,258 tons, Minato Shimbun reported.
