NOAA Adds to Scientific Armada with New Mapping Ship Bound for Alaska

This Thursday, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) will host a keel-laying ceremony in Houma, Louisiana marking the beginning of construction for an ocean-floor mapping vessel that will be home-ported in Ketchikan when finished.
