Oregon DEQ Cites Da Yang Seafood for Violations Totaling $105,000
The Oregon Department of Environmental Quality issued 18 penalties totaling $2,571,444 in October and November for various environmental violations, including for Da Yang Seafood in Astoria over water quality issues.
DEQ said the company was issued a civil penalty for discharging wastewater from the facility in Astoria to state waters without a permit on 32 occasions between June 2018 and June 2021.
