Norway Hits Salmon Export Record, Seafood Value at Reach Near-record Numbers

The Norwegian Seafood Council said that despite “flare-ups of the coronavirus pandemic in many markets,” exports remained at a high level. The Council also noted the highest salmon export volumes ever for the month of October.
In October, Norway exported NOK 10.4 billion worth of seafood, a decrease of five percent compared to last October but still the third-highest total export value for a single month.
Overall, Norwegian seafood exports have reached NOK 87.2 billion in 2020, at the same mark as last year’s record number...
