China Suspends Imports From Ecuador Seafood Manufacturer Firexpa After Finding Traces of Coronavirus
China's General Administration of Customs announced over the weekend that they are suspending imports from Ecuadorian seafood manufacturer Firexpa S.A. following traces of the coronavirus being found on packages of frozen pomfret.
According to the notice from Customs, the suspension will last for one week. If additional traces of the virus are found after the one-week suspension, China's Customs agency could potentially suspend imports from the company for a month.
