32 Members of Congress Urge EPA to Veto Pebble Mine and Protect Bristol Bay
West Coast members of Congress Jared Huffman (D-CA) and Peter DeFazio (D-OR) were joined by 30 of their colleagues on Monday to urge U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Andrew Wheeler to veto the Final Environmental Impact Statement for the proposed Pebble Mine in Western Alaska. Huffman is Chair of the Natural Resources Water, Oceans, and Wildlife Subcommittee and member of the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee. DeFazio is Chair of the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee.
