Poor Catch This Year May Lead to Significant Growth of Prices for Salmon and Caviar in Russia
Leading Russian fishermen and local analysts say that prices for salmon and caviar from Russia may significantly increase this year due to poor catch in the Far East.
According to recent statements of Russian Rosrybolovstvo, as of August 17, the volume of Pacific salmon catch in Russia amounted to 220,000 tonnes, which is 49% less than for the same period in 2018.
