India: With Shrimp Producers Hit, Feed Makers Brace for Adverse Impact
With the 50 per cent US tariffs hitting the Indian shrimp sector, feed manufacturers fear that they would have to face the consequences as it would have an adverse impact on feed consumption by shrimp producers.
Divya Kumar Gulati, President of the Compound Livestock Feed Manufacturers Association (CLFMA), asked the Centre to focus on forging free trade agreements (FTAs) with other countries, like the one with the UK, to bail the industry out.
