Invading Octopuses 'Eating All of Britain's Crabs and Lobsters' as Catches Down by Half

Brit fishing chiefs have launched a probe into an invasion of octopus suspected of eating the nation’s shellfish. Fishermen claim the tentacled terrors attracted by warmer UK waters are wrecking their crab and lobster catches. Some have reported a 50% reduction in hauls.
Now Plymouth City and Devon County councils and the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs -aka DEFRA -is investigating the causes and consequences of the octopuses’ antics.
