The Japanese Government Aims to Increase Oyster Exports to JPY 9.3 Billion by 2030
The Japanese government held a meeting last week focused on expanding export targets for oysters and processed oysters. Minato Shimbun reported that the government aims to increase exports of oysters and processed oysters to 9.3 billion yen ($65.07 million) in 2030, which is 1.5 times the 2024 export result.
