Måsøval Submits Independent Appeal After Norwegian State Appeals Verdict of Farming Misdiagnosis
Last month SeafoodNews reported that Måsøval AS was awarded NOK 12.8 million following a lawsuit against the Norwegian State. But the state is not accepting the verdict.
The case dates back to August 2019 when Måsøval’s Kattholmen facility received a misdiagnosis from the Norwegian government. The state said that the facility had PD SAV3, a highly contagious viral disease affecting salmonid aquaculture.
