Florida’s Stone Crab Season Closing May 2
The recreational and commercial stone crab season in Florida is set to close on Tuesday, May 2.
Florida’s Fish and Wildlife sent out an alert over the weekend to warn that the last day of harvest will be Monday, May 1. According to the agency, “commercially harvested stone crab claws may be possessed and sold during the closed season but only if they have been placed in inventory prior to May 2 by a licensed wholesale or retail dealer.”
