Japan's May Fishery Exports Increased 1% in Volume and 6% in Value
According to trade statistics released by the Ministry of Finance, Japan's May fisheries exports (including fish and shellfish, preparations thereof, fishmeal, and fish oil) increased 1% in volume year-on-year (YOY), amounting to 43,731 tons, while also increasing 6% in value YOY, amounting to JPY 23.746 billion ($163.85 million).
