FDA Advises Public to Not Consume Raw Oysters from Canada’s Oyster Kings
Days after the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) posted a recall notice for various oysters sold by Oyster Kings Inc., the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) posted an advisory, warning consumers to not eat the shellfish as well.
The advisory, warns against consuming oysters purchased by restaurants and retailers from Oyster Kings various brands that were harvested on September 8 in New Brunswick, Canada, due to salmonella.
