Chilean Salmon Exports Jump 34% in Q2 Rising Above Pre-Pandemic Levels
The Chilean Salmon Council (CDS) shared that shipments of salmon and trout totaled $1.55 billion in the second quarter of the year, a 34% jump compared to Q2 2021 and according to Joanna Davidovich, executive director of the Salmon Council, the total is above pre-pandemic levels.
The latest Chilean salmon export totals come from the Council, which consists of AquaChile, Australis, Cermaq, Mowi and Salmones Aysén, and its Quarterly Report on Salmon Exports which compiles information from the Central Bank and the National Customs Service...
