Intercity Packers Meat & Seafood Celebrates 50th Anniversary
Canada’s Intercity Packers Meat & Seafood (ICP) is celebrating their 50th anniversary this year.
The company was founded in 1972 by Gary Mathies and Jim Sarangi. At the time, Mathies and Sarangi initially focused on supplying beef, pork, lamb, chicken and game to local restaurants out of their facility in Vancouver, B.C. Eventually their operation grew and the company added additional facilities in Edmonton, Toronto and Montreal to expand their reach.
