EPA Settles Clean Air Violations Charges with Starkist at Tuna Plant in Samoa
Last week the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) settled a long-standing case with Starkist’s Samoa tuna plant on alleged violations of the federal Clean Air Act. Violations of rules addressing ammonia storage, use, and leak prevention at the Starkist-leased, Samoa Tuna Processors’ facility in Pago Pago were at issue.
