Pierce Seafood founder, pioneer shrimp and lobster tail importer, Harry Pierce passes away at 99

Pierce Seafood Inc announced the passing of Harrison J. Harry Pierce on November 10 following a brief illness. He was 99 years of age.
The company said that after joining Wilbuer-Ellis Company in 1954, where he managed the frozen foods division for 10 years, Pierce, along with some Wilbuer-Ellis colleagues, moved on to establish Harrison Pierce & Co., Inc, which would become a leading importer of frozen seafood, emphasizing shrimp and lobster tails from around the world.
