Longtime Educator Announces Campaign for Alaska's US House Seat

Commercial fisherman and educator Bill Hill launched a campaign for Alaska's seat in the U.S. House of Representatives Wednesday.
Hill, a Dena'ina Athabascan from Bristol Bay, is running for the seat as an Independent, according to a press release. In the release and a video announcing his campaign, Hill said lowering costs, fighting corruption in Washington D.C. and protecting Alaska from government overreach would be his main priorities.
