Dartmouth Seafood Exporter Being Sued by Bank of Montreal

A Dartmouth seafood exporter is being sued by the Bank of Montreal for not making payments on loans.
According to the statement of claim filed by the bank, Jeffrey Legge and his company (3339131 Nova Scotia Ltd.) borrowed $2,123,040 through a series of loans in 2022.
The document alleges that Legge and the company failed to pay despite written commitments (the last of which was on Sept. 25, 2025).
Interest is accruing on the debt at a rate of $435.15 per day...
