Greens Call for Stop to Licensing of New Scottish Salmon Farms
MINISTERS have been urged to protect Scotland’s waters by pausing the licensing of new salmon farms.
The Scottish Greens' call comes after one of the largest ever mass salmon escapes was reported in 2025, alongside reports of the mistreatment of farmed salmon.
