Crawfish Are Returning to Houston-Area Restaurants

Live crawfish are now on the menu at a few Houston restaurants as the season's bounty begins to trickle in.
Most restaurants wait until late January or February to begin serving mudbugs. The season reaches its peak between March and May. But even in December, wholesalers and restaurateurs said customers are already clamoring for crawfish.
