Mace Reintroduces Bill To Protect American Fishermen Against IUU and Foreign Interference

Last Friday, South Carolina Representative Nancy Mace reintroduced the Protect American Fisheries Act of 2025, which would amend Section 312(a) of the Magnuson-Stevens Fishery Conservation and Management Act (MSA), the section addressing disaster declarations.
Mace originally introduced House Resolution 6150 on November 19, 2025 with eight co-sponsors, 5 Republicans and 3 Democrats, from Maine, North Carolina, Florida, Alabama, Louisiana, and Texas.
