SADER Extends Shrimp Ban Until November 10 in the Gulf and Caribbean

The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (SADER), through the National Commission of Aquaculture and Fisheries (CONAPESCA), has announced the extension of the closed period for commercial shrimp fishing in the Gulf of Mexico and Caribbean Sea until November 10, 2025. This decision, published in the Official Journal of the Federation on October 24, 2025, modifies the original agreement of April 30 of the same year.
