Albertsons Raises Outlook, Expands Buyback as Digital Sales Grow
Albertsons reported higher second-quarter revenue and said it would expand its share-repurchase program as growth in its digital sales offset competitive concerns in the grocery market.
The grocery-store chain on Tuesday said its digital sales increased 23%, helping it to log $18.92 billion in second-quarter sales, up from $18.55 billion the year prior.
