UK Grocery Inflation Rise Driven by Coffee, Cocoa and Meat Prices
U.K. grocery inflation picked up in the past month, with higher prices for coffee, chocolate and meat driving the increase, according to data collector Worldpanel.
Prices in U.K. grocery stores increased 5.2% on a like-for-like basis for the four weeks to Oct. 5, with inflation reaching similar levels as July, Worldpanel wrote in a report Tuesday.
