EU Steps Up Russian Seafood Imports Amid Tensions

The European Union is increasing its imports of fish and seafood from Russia this year, despite the ever-tightening sanctions and current tensions between the two sides.
According to data from Russian newswire RIA Novosti, from January to July 2025, the EU increased its fish and seafood imports from Russia by more than 25% compared to the same period last year.
