Iceland’s Brim Acquires Fish Oil Maker Lysi for $250 Million

Iceland-based seafood giant Brim announced that it has acquired all shares in fellow Icelandic firm Lysi, a long-time fish oil manufacturer, for ISK 30 billion ($248 million).
“The parties see great opportunities for synergy and advancement to strengthen Lysi’s raw material position and for Brim to move further up the seafood value chain,” Brim said in a news update.
