Fishing, The Hardest Hit Sector Of Argentina's Economy
Fishing showed an inter-annual collapse of 74.6% in June and was the sector that had the greatest negative impact on the INDEC's Monthly Economic Activity Estimator (EMAE). Due to the combination of a collapse in international prices, a union conflict and a low domestic demand, the sector states that the crisis has already cost u$s200 million and affects 5,000 workers.
