US Radioactive Material Alert Halts Work at Shrimp Exporter

Indonesia has halted production at seafood processor PT Bahari Makmur Sejati, which operates as BMS Foods, pending a product safety probe, Environment Minister Hanif Faisol Nurofiq said on Friday.
The investigation comes after United States Customs and Border Protection (CBP) found that raw frozen shrimp imported from the company may have contained radioactive material.
