UK: Researchers Survey Skippers to Assess State of Fishing Fleet
A team of researchers from Seafish, the public body which supports the UK seafood industry, will visit harbours across Cornwall over the next few weeks as part of its annual Fishing Fleet Survey.
Researchers will conduct interviews with skippers and vessel owners to collect data on business performance and crew demographics, and say this will also give interviewees a chance to provide feedback on the state of the industry.
