Restaurant to be First in San Francisco to Offer Cell-grown Salmon
A hip, upscale restaurant that specializes in serving chef’s-choice assortments of sushi and other Japanese-inspired dishes is set to become San Francisco’s first food establishment to offer a new cultured-cell salmon product developed by a startup company in The City.
Starting Aug. 14, Robin San Francisco in Hayes Valley will offer patrons the chance to try the salmon product manufactured by Wildtype, a venture-funded company in the Dogpatch that was founded in 2016.
