At Least 17,000 Salmon Affected in Mortality Event at Mowi Canada East Site in Newfoundland
Mowi Canada East has confirmed a salmon mortality event at its Little Burdock Cove site in Newfoundland and Labrador.
The incident occurred on July 20 and was reported on July 28 through a notice published on the Newfoundland Aquaculture Industry Association (NAIA) website.
