University of Prince Edward Island Students Learn Hands-on About P.E.I. Aquaculture Industry
Several University of Prince Edward Island students gained first-hand experience in the P.E.I. aquaculture industry recently.
For two weeks, ending June 6, 17 UPEI students enrolled in a course titled “aquaculture and the environment."
In a news release, UPEI said students in the course covered topics related to production systems, water quality, disease and pest management, policy and regulation, and the effect of aquaculture on the environment and human communities.
