Mitsubishi-Owned Salmon Farmer Cermaq Buys Key Grieg Seafood Assets for $900 Million

Salmon farmer Cermaq announced it has acquired Grieg Seafood’s operations in Finnmark, Norway and British Columbia and Newfoundland, Canada, in a $987 million (NOK 10.2 billion) deal.
Cermaq CEO Steven Rafferty stated that the move will enhance the company’s competitiveness and contribute to its growth.
