N.S. Offshore Wind Plans Advance as Fishery Concerns Persist
Speaking at the Oceantic Network’s 2025 International Partnering Forum (IPF) in Virginia Beach, Virginia, last week, Houston reaffirmed the province’s commitment to developing offshore wind, describing it as a major opportunity for Nova Scotia’s energy future.
“We have a lot to offer to the offshore wind sector, and we have incredible wind speeds in Nova Scotia,” Houston said. “The demand in Nova Scotia for wind energy is continuing to grow, and it has to be met.”
